The Salem Baptist Association has ministry scholarships available for members of churches in the Salem Baptist Association (SBA). Below are the requirements for the scholarship.

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree, or a Certificate of Ministry - Minimum of 3 hours per semester

• Applicants must be an active member of an SBA church or a church member who is currently studying at a qualified seminary/school

• Enrolled in a Southern Baptist Seminary or school and eligible for enrollment for the upcoming academic term

• Pursuing a degree for a ministry position

Scholarship Amounts:

• 5 Scholarships for applicants pursuing a master’s degree of $1,000.00 each with an option for the amount to increase if funds are available

• 2 Scholarships for applicants pursuing a bachelor’s degree or ministry certificate of $500.00 each with an option for the amount to increase if funds are available

Scholarship Deadlines and Disbursements:

• Applications must be completed by June 1st of each year

• Scholarships will be sent to school on August 1st

• For Spring 2023 Only: Completed Application due December 31, 2022.  For this semester only the scholarships will be half of their normal value. The full scholarship amount will begin for the Fall 2023 academic year.
